Italy brand Prada Group expressed at February 8,the profits in the fiscal year just passed exceed their expectations,this is mainly thanks to retail business,it increased by 14%.
Brand designer Miuccia Prada has always been considered the leader in fashion world. Prada Group expressed that the preliminary results show that till the January 31 2010 the whole financial year,the profits made better than expectations,but hadn’t given the details out. Through by self financing 120 million euros to develop last year.
Last year the whole income of Prada is 1.65 billion euros,net profits is 99 million euros,fell by 22% compared with preceding year.
Prada denied the report from “New York post” and corrected that it is negotiating of selling shares with the second largest luxury Group — Richemont Group.

Overall,in 2009,the takings of Hermes company increased by 8.5% to 1.91 billion euros,over-fulfilled. This is mainly thanks to strong retail in the year and good sales during Christmas. the last season in 2009. The sales of exclusive stores under Hermes Group increased by 17%.Quite the opposite,the wholesales fell 17% in the year.
